I’m Christina, and I’m working on a sun wrap for my walks and travels. This is where I share the sewing, small experiments, and changes along the way.
A personal design project, still taking shape.
I wanted something easy to wear over my everyday clothes when I went walking. The options I tried felt too warm or weren’t quite what I wanted to wear. So I began sewing a layer of my own. Roaming Postcodes is my place to document the process: what I try, what I change, and what I learn.
Ordinary tops often leave the neckline, chest, and shoulders exposed. I’m developing a wrap designed to add coverage over the clothes you already enjoy wearing.
I’m working through the shape, fit, and finishing details, one version at a time.
These miniature mockups are a way to explore the neckline, construction, and drape before working at full size. I’m documenting what changes and what I learn.
